Our beautiful Heritage raspberry produces between May and November. We bring them to Farmer's Markets throughout Southern California. Picking usually starts in mid-May, depending on weather conditions, and production is usually in full swing by the middle of June. The number of markets we are able to attend will be related to the volume of berries ready for picking. Storage Tips Over the years we have found our little cardboard baskets with the little red nets to provide ideal container storage for fresh berries. We recommend that they be kept on the refrigerator shelf with a dry paper towel laid over the top to absorb any residual moisture. Under these conditions a fresh basket of raspberries will have a shelf life of at least 3 to 4 days. Many of our customer happily report that they store their raspberries up to 7 days!
